Testing
We thoroughly tested EcoWear to ensure it matches the quality of conventional denim, focusing on its color durability and overall appearance. We also analyzed the dyeing process to confirm that it produces much cleaner wastewater, making it both stylish and eco-friendly.
Effluent Testing
We tested the effluent from EcoWear’s dyeing process and compared it to that of conventional methods. The results showed significantly lower levels of Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), and total dissolved and suspended solids in EcoWear’s effluent. This confirms that EcoWear produces much cleaner and less toxic wastewater, making it easier to treat and far more environmentally friendly.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
Fastness Grade Testing
We conducted fastness grade testing to ensure EcoWear’s dyed fabric met the quality standards of conventional denim. The tests assessed color retention after washing, rubbing, and exposure to light, and the results confirmed excellent durability and color stability. This proves that EcoWear not only delivers sustainability but also maintains the high-quality look and feel expected from denim.
Durability
We conducted durability testing to ensure EcoWear fabric could withstand regular wear and tear while maintaining its quality. The results showed that EcoWear denim retains its strength, color, and texture even after repeated use and washing. This confirms that EcoWear offers the same long-lasting durability as conventional denim, with the added benefit of being more sustainable.
